Mesothelioma Prevention on Courthouse Steps

All the earmarks of asbestos abatement procedures--plastic barriers, caution tape, and signs in multiple languages--are in place in the Palm Springs County Courthouse undergoing asbestos removal. They are being cautions to avoid potential future lawsuits, as hazardous asbestos-containing materials lodged in the lungs develop mesothelioma--several decades later.
