Mesothelioma Runner

Surrounded by “Team Tom”—the many runners he has trained, inspired and encouraged for the last decade, Tom Kaisersatt finished the Silicon Valley Marathon, months after being diagnosed with mesothelioma. Days after the race, Kaisersatt underwent a 4th round of chemotherapy, after which he may or may not undergo extra-pleural pneumonectomy, or removal of his right lung.
