Mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer in which cancer (malignant) cells
are found in the sac lining the chest (the pleura), the lining of the abdominal
cavity (the peritoneum) or the lining around the heart (the pericardium). It is
generally caused by asbestos exposure. We are providing on this site a source of
resources to support those injured by mesothelioma.

Were YOU Exposed?

Paraoccupational mesothelioma is a risk for anyone with family who worked in an asbestos-using industry. That daily hug from dad after he got home from work or mom washing work clothes can be enough exposure to cause health problems later on. Much later on.

The mesothelioma's latency period is typically 30 to 40 years. If you breathed in asbestos fibers brought home by spouse, friend or family member as long ago as the 1950s and 1960s and only now be experiencing symptoms.
